Requirements for navigation

Below we explain what equivalent title you need for each boat. On the day of the boat rental, you must provide the corresponding title with the identity document.

FRANCE PERMIS MER COTIER Without moving away more than 5 miles from an accessible shelter or beach. Brevet de patron à la plaisance issued by the French republic (marine marchande) (sailboat skipper up to 24 m. in length less than 200 miles from the coast *). The restriction that appears on the PERMIS B cards, limiting the permit to boats of up to 25 tons, was repealed by decree of the French State on 10-21-92.
PERMIS MER (Hauturier) Without restrictions .
CARTE MER Motorized navigation up to 37 kW, less than 2 tons, daytime navigation, without moving away more than 5 miles from an accessible shelter or beach.
PERMIS A Without moving away more than 5 miles from an accessible shelter or beach
